The Regents Road bridge would devastate the very heart of Rose Canyon Park, bringing traffic, noise, graffiti, and concrete viewscapes through its most serene portion. Current plans call for 600 feet of roadway extending down into the heart of the park, connecting to the massive bridge structure. With no stop lights between Governor Drive and Arriba Street, this road would function as a four lane expressway, taking rush hour commuter traffic through the park and through neighborhoods.
