Genesee Avenue and Governor Drive : grade separation

This sketch shows a reconfigured Genesee Avenue / Governor Drive intersection, with a two lane underpass (shown in blue below) allowing continuous traffic flow along Genesee. The length of the underpass would be 114 feet. To the north and the south of the intersection, the interior lanes would gradually come back up to grade, joining with the outer lanes on Genesee within about 900 feet on either side of Governor Drive. Above the underpass, on the north and south sides of the intersection, would be two 54 foot wide pedestrian safe zones (shown in green below).
